NFPA® Award and Scholarship Sponsorships
NFPA honors the paralegal profession by offering paralegals, both members and non-members of NFPA, a variety of awards and scholarships for personal and professional achievements. NFPA awards and scholarships honor individuals who have distinguished themselves, and in doing so, have made significant contributions to the paralegal profession. NFPA sponsors support the awards and scholarships and join NFPA in presenting them to the selected individuals.

Award Sponsorship Opportunities:
- Association Pro Bono Award
This award is to honor a NFPA member association that has exhibited outstanding dedication, commitment, and inspiration that embodies the human spirit of giving back. This is a wonderful opportunity for a sponsor to join NFPA in honoring and recognizing the winning member association before NFPA members and other distinguished convention attendees.
- Individual Pro Bono Award
This award is given to an individual who is dedicated and committed to providing legal services assistance to those in need. This opportunity allows a sponsor to recognize the outstanding achievements of an individual for the services they provide.
- Outstanding Local Leader
This award recognizes an individual NFPA member who has demonstrated leadership by their contributions to their local paralegal association.
- Paralegal of the Year
This award recognizes an individual NFPA member whose on-the-job achievements have contributed to expansion of the paralegal profession, including contributions to his or her employer and colleagues and the paralegal profession.
- William R. Robie Leadership Award
This award recognizes an NFPA member who exemplifies the professional qualities of leadership, support, mentorship and encouragement in the paralegal profession. It also honors the memory of the Honorable William R. Robie and his dedication to the paralegal profession, the expansion of the delivery of legal services and equal access to justice for all Americans. This award is unique in that it recognizes an NFPA member during a special time in his or her life and serves as a reminder of how grateful the members of NFPA are for the recipient’s contributions to the paralegal profession in America.
- PACE Ambassador Award
This award recognizes the recipient’s outstanding achievement in promoting the PACE program. PACE Ambassadors offer legal professionals advancement in educational journeys that will foster friendships, and build the foundation for personal and professional success.
- PACE Scholarship
The PACE Scholarship provides financial support for the purpose of taking PACE and purchasing study materials in preparation to take PACE.
- NFPA/Thomson Reuters Scholarships – Sponsored by Thomson Reuters
The NFPA/Thomson Reuters Scholarships were created to provide financial assistance to paralegal students who demonstrate dedication to the field through their volunteer efforts and outstanding academic achievements as well as need.
